Find a Report that Contains a Claim Reports from our clearinghouse partners (Availity or CareVu/Healthsmart) can be processed for claim rejections. Processed report will post rejection information directly to Medisoft claim management. You can also search your Claim Response reports for a specific claim or patient. 1. At the bottom of the Claim Management window click Print\Send, select Electronic, and make sure that the correct EDI receiver is selected in the box at the bottom of the window. NOTE: Medisoft will remember the last EDI receiver you used. 2. Click the Clipboard icon to view Claim Response reports. ![]() 3. Click the Binocular icon to search for a report which contains specific text. ![]() 4. Enter the text you wish to search for and choose whether to search reports above or below the report currently selected. ![]() 5. InterfaceEDI will flip through your reports and stop when a report is found that contains the text you are searching for. If it does not find a report after searching for several seconds, it will stop and ask you if you want to continue searching. Find a Claim on the Selected Report If you are looking for a specific claim or chart within the selected report. 1. Click the Magnifying Glass icon, to search the selected report for a specific string of text. ![]() 2. Enter the text you wish to search for. ![]() 3. If the text is found in the current report you will get a message that says “Text Found” and the text will be highlighted in black in the report view. Click OK on the “Text Found” pop-up, but do not close the search dialogue or the text may no longer be highlighted. |
