PPN Setup

 
Availity and Physician Network Holding Company (PPN).
 
To successful report your claims to PPN when your clearinghouse is Availity do the following.
 
For each Insurance company in Medisoft that you want to send claim information to PPN
 
for Medisoft version 15 and below do the following,
 
Edit the Insurance company in Medisoft, on the EDI tab, under EDI SubID put the following
 
2U FPPN22
 
that is 2U then one space then FPPN22
 
for Medisoft version 16 and above do the following,
 
Edit the Insurance company in Medisoft, on the EDI tab, under Alternate Carrier ID put the following
 
2U FPPN22
 
that is 2U then one space then FPPN22
 
 
The InterfaceEDI program will take care of the rest.
