EDI Receivers

EDI Receiver Setup

All Receivers need

'MEGAEDI.EXE' in Program File

Submitter ID 1

Submitter Password 1

The program will work with one reciever or multiple Receivers.

Placing SINGLE in the EDI Receiver Extra 3 will cause the program to only send claims with that receiver when that receiver is used to start the program. Also causes the program to ignore claims attached to this receiver when selecting another receiver in Claim Management Print/Send.

To designate the claim type as Institutional, place UB04 or UB92 in Extra 3.

Putting BUILDONLY in the File Name field on the ID tab of the EDI Receiver will cause InterfaceEDI to create the file and mark claim status as if the file was sent. You have to click on Yes to the Send Claims Now prompt. Use this setting in conjunction with the 837 Export setting to build a file that can be uploaded through a clearinghouse web portal.
